 Welcome to BooksVox, published and operated by Imikidas, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the BooksVox application (“App”) and related services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. One account is limited to one person. You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to design, text, and software, are owned or licensed by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the App without our prior written consent.

User Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not collect personal data beyond what is outlined in that policy.

Account Security & Termination

Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to monitor usage patterns; accounts showing simultaneous access from multiple IP addresses or abnormal usage frequency may be flagged as "Suspicious Activity." We retain the absolute right to suspend or terminate any account, without notice or refund, if such activity is detected. Decisions regarding account termination for terms violations are at our sole discretion and are final.

Purchases

The App or related services may offer purchases for additional features, content, or functionality. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made. Termination of an account due to a violation of the "No Sharing" policy or other terms results in immediate forfeiture of any remaining subscription time or Lifetime access without refund.

AI Disclaimer

The Read-Along feature utilizes artificial intelligence to provide transcription and synchronization. We provide no guarantee of 100% accuracy and are not liable for errors, misspellings, or sync failures. This feature is separate from the "Pro" app version and may be subject to different usage caps or requirements. We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue the Read-Along feature at any time for maintenance or updates.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We are not responsible for any data loss, device damage, or emotional distress caused by the App.

Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate.
